WELCOME
These properties are owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as natural sanctuaries where members of the Church and of the larger community, especially the youth, children, and their families, may enjoy wholesome recreational activities under the influence and protection of the Spirit of the Lord. Here are some points for your consideration concerning the operation of each camp.

1. To maintain a spirit of peace and good will befitting such a sanctuary, the Church asks all who come to this place to live the Church’s standards of personal conduct, whether or not they are members of the Church. This means that here you will find that there is no coffee, tea, alcohol, tobacco, or substance abuse, nor any fire arms, contention, or profanity, and we also ask each person who comes here to follow the highest standards of modesty in dress and conduct, with courtesy and kindness being the hallmarks of your conduct while here. Please let us know how well those at the camp met these aspirations during your stay.

2. We are grateful to be able to offer the use of these facilities to our members and friends at a cost that we believe will continue to make these facilities affordable to all who want to come. We thus rely upon the following kinds of good will offerings from the Church, our patrons, and any others who may want to contribute to the continued success of the camp:

(a) The Church contributes financing from the tithes of the members for necessary capital improvements providing essential infrastructure to allow the Camp to host individuals, families, and groups.

(b) For camp staff, the Church calls full-time Church Service Missionaries to leave their homes across the country and serve here for a two-year mission, at their own cost. If you have questions or suggestions, speak with the Manager or any of these delightful senior Missionary couples.

(c) Each person, family, or group who comes here is invited to devote, in the spirit of service, a part of their time while here to help with one of the needed maintenance projects, as listed by the Manager. We thank you for your labor of love.

(d) The various Stakes and Wards (congregations of local members) of the Church who have stewardship for the maintenance of this facility provide needed annual and seasonal repairs, maintenance, and upkeep through volunteer work crews invited from among their members and friends. If you or your group would like to join in such a work party, please check with the Managers.

3. We appreciate all those who have contributed to assure the continued success of these facilities. The warm spirit felt while visiting our camps is due in a large measure to the many ways our guests have volunteered of their time, talents, and means over the years.

Thank you.
