About Maple Rise
| NOT OPEN IN 2008
This 213-acre camp is located two miles west of Wellsville, Utah (in Cache Valley), on a high bench. The camp is bordered on three sides by farmland and on the west by oak and maple trees extending up the lower slopes of the Wellsville Mountain Range. Access is easy on mostly paved roads. The camp has a pavilion, seven vault toilets, 35 campsites some with fire rings, and an amphitheater. There is a hiking trail to a small lake that is on Forest Service land. The camp is covered with maple trees that provide wonderful shade. Security is good with a locked gate on a private road.
