About Lyman Lake

Camp Lyman is a beautiful area in the Uinta Mountains about a three hour drive from Layton, Ogden, or Salt Lake City. It is located on the north shore of Lyman Lake in a pristine pine and aspen setting. There is a large A frame lodge where meals can be prepared and eaten and where group gatherings take place. There are sleeping accomodations in the lodge for about 25 people. Ten cabins that can sleep 10-15 people each are in the pines. There are 12 camp sites for tents, four of which are big enough for a trailer. A dock on the lake with ten canoes, a large meadow in front of the lodge, and a nice amphitheater make this an ideal camp area. There are four flush toilets in a bathroom building and an outhouse type facility with four separate toilet rooms. The lodge has running water and a water heater.
