About Shawnee

   Camp Shawnee is located on the North Fork of the Ogden River, just north of Liberty, Utah. The camp has 37 acres at an elevation of 5,766 feet. It is served with commercial power and is supplied with water from two springs. There is a 25,000 gallon water-storage tank. The one-story lodge is on a pleasant grassy area and includes a large central meeting area, kitchen, and restrooms. The camp has two other restrooms facilities, one with showers; one is located near the cabins and playfield, only available in the summer months. Combined restroom facilities provide 11 flush toilets and four showers There are four one-room sleeping cabins and nine campsites with fire pits and tables. There is a large playing field with a backstop for a ball diamond, along with an amphiteater. In addition there is a basketball court and a large open meadow.

Shower house will be available for girls camp uses during summer months only and then sometimes in the late summer the springs don't flow enough to supply showers so they may be shut off without notice.


Camp Shawnee will close the camp grounds and outside water system for the winter beginning October 1st and re-open them in the spring when the threat of frost has ended.
