About Monte Cristo
| THIS IS A PRIMITIVE DIRT CAMP WITH LIMITED ACCESS ON A DIRT ROAD WITH NO WATER OR RESTROOM FACILITIES.
The camp is located in a very remote area above Huntsville, Utah. near the crest of the Monte Cristo Mountains. The access to the property is on a 15-mile dirt road with a driving time of approximately 35 minutes from the main paved road. The camp has a small amphitheater, rough picnic tables, and fire pits. There is no on-site drinking water, and there are no bathroom or washing facilities. It is a very rough camp. The responsible groups must rent commercial port-a-potties for sanitation at the average cost of $1,700 per week. |
