About Woodland
| This 12-acre camp is located 8 miles south of Morgan and 3 miles south of Porterville, Utah, on Highway 66, on the way to East Canyon Dam. The camp is situated in river bottom terrain surrounded by farmland. East Canyon Creek runs through the property. Cottonwood and silver maple trees provide good shade. The camp had a 30 year old lodge but the winter of 2007-2008 the lodge roof caved in and demolished the entire lodge. During 2008 construction for a new lodge began and was completed. In 2009 the camp opened with a gorgeous new lodge available for all our visitors. The camp has a separate building with 14 flush toilets and 10 individual showers and sinks, an amphitheater, a huge ball field, a volleyball court, and lots of grass areas for camping. This camp ground is very suitable for individual stake or ward Young Women groups. While this camp is located close to the highway, it is secluded and secured by locked gates.
